Principal's Letter October 26

Dear Parents,

As you are aware, participation in sports and games has been made mandatory twice a week for all boys in both the Prep and Senior School. Starting January 2026, the College will provide a nutritious and balanced lunch for day-boys on games days. Meals will be served in the Prep and Senior School Boarding Houses and in the Shamim Khan Hall.

After school, boys will proceed to their assigned boarding house dining room or to SK Hall for lunch. Masters on Duty, along with the respective Boarding Housemasters, will be present during lunchtime.

A proper sit-down lunch before games offers multiple benefits. It will provide another opportunity for interaction and conversation among students and teachers and enhance cohesiveness and friendship between boarders and day-boys, thereby strengthening the school community. It will also help boys develop good table manners while enjoying the benefits of a healthy meal.

Spending a full day on campus twice a week will allow day-boys to fully experience life at Aitchison College, making their school journey more meaningful and impactful.

The cost per meal will be Rs. 650/- to be charged in the fee bill.

Parents who wish to opt out of the meal plan should write an email to the Bursar (bursar@aitchison.edu.pk) latest by November 10, 2025.
