Haroun Rashid gave a recitation of Major Langlands' favourite Robert Frost poem. \nHigh profile artist and performer Ali Zafar presented the school with a bust of 'The Major' to add to the Langlands' Room. \nThe Principal spoke of how he hoped the Langlands' example would encourage old boys to donate funds for the tuition fees of remote boarders, a worthy cause close to the Major's heart. \nThe Principal also addressed the importance of recognising the contribution of teaching staff since 1886 who had served 15 years and more. The beautiful gallery contains photographs of all relevant staff and honour boards for 20 and 30 years plus service.\n#Aitchison #ACOBA #MajorLanglands #Mandir #Oldbuilding #contribution #Students #CAIE #Sports #inaugration #Gallery #Legend #MajorLanglands'","id":"QwU6oiJoUoo","oembed":{"author_name":"Aitchison College Official","author_url":"https://www.youtube.com/@aitchisoncollegeofficial7250","thumbnail_url":"https://i.ytimg.com/vi/QwU6oiJoUoo/hqdefault.jpg","title":"𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒' 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒' 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐘"},"platform":"youtube","read_as":"an anonymous visitor: the page, not the player (the player is behind the platform's sign-in wall)","relative_date":"5y ago","source":"public_watch_page","subscribers":"4.08K subscribers","title":"𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒' 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒' 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐘","uploaded_on":"2021-02-18","views":"0"}
