The dramatic rise in boarding academic results and university placements, over recent years, has occurred because of the added evening academic assistance boys receive from residential teaching staff. My strong advice, in circumstances where you can, is to return to boarding as soon as possible. It is very difficult to make up lost ground in cumulative knowledge based subjects and houses are secure.  Thus, vaccinated M1 and M2 boys may return. Unvaccinated E2 boys should remain temporary day boys until further notice. From February 1, no unvaccinated boy 12 plus may attend school without proof of at least one vaccination dose.
