It is observable that Dayboys are taking time off school to attend weddings, which often includes long traveling. This is partly encouraged by the alternate day cycles. We have imposed restrictions and quarantine conditions on boarders to protect their community. This has worked extraordinarily well in a system of non-compulsory boarding this term. However, we cannot have every Dayboy tested and nor can we regulate all Dayboy activities and their whereabouts.Accordingly, it falls to the parents of Dayboys to be responsible enough to keep their sons home after weddings to check for any symptoms and obtain a PCR report before returning to school. Boys should report to the College doctor, just as boarders do. Parents should also make sure their sons avoid frequent travel. This virus is still with us. It is real and remains very threatening to certain people, especially the elderly and infirmed. Our aim is to keep school operating in the interests of all boys and to finish the school year strongly and successfully.
