From the Principal’s Desk
Respected Sir/Madam,
Aitchison College will be hosting its annual Science
and Engineering Concept from the 21st to the 23rd
of October, 2022. On behalf of the ACSEC Team,
staff and student body of Aitchison, | am pleased
to invite you to the seventh edition of ACSEC
which will be held physically, as well as virtually,
catering to all delegates.
Aitchison College is one of the most prestigious educational institutions of its kind
in South Asia and a member of the G20 group of schools. Our extensive
facilities and societies encourage students to discover their potential. It has
retained its character over the years by maintaining the public-school tradition of
providing quality education that uses academic, sports and co-curricular activities as
tools for character development. Today, our pupils represent all areas of
Pakistan and truly reflect the demographic mix of our nation.
In 2013, the Aitchison College Science Society delivered Pakistan's first STEM
Olympiad, ACSEC. The Society later revamped this event in February 2018. In its
seventh version, we intend to set up a benchmark for future STEM Olympiads in
Pakistan. The society hopes to welcome delegates once again from across the
world, especially partner schools in the USA, UK, India and Australia among many
others.
This three-day event is a STEM and Research Olympiad, in which students can
grapple with innovation and logical advances. They will enhance their analytical
capacities as they solve the most multifaceted riddles and puzzles, design the tallest
rockets and solve forensic cases. Delegates will participate in different
categories that are being managed and run by our most capable students.
We welcome all schools to ACSEC VII and wish for the success of this astounding
project.
Your Sincerely,
Mr Michael Thomson,
Principal of Aitchison College.
