From the Headmistress’ Desk
Dear Sir/Madam,
On behalf of the faculty, students, and the ACSEC
Team, it gives me immense pleasure to invite you to
the seventh edition of the Aitchison College
Science and Engineering Concept (ACSEC) being
held from the 21st to 23rd of October, 2022.
This three-day Olympiad promises to deliver the
best experience one can have at an Olympiad of this
nature. With 11 categories requiring a different set of skills and knowledge, ACSEC
has something for everyone. Be it an up-and-coming astronomer, a prospective
environmentalist, or an Aristotle in the making, ACSEC is jam-packed with excitement
for those passionate about science as well as those who are looking for a good
learning experience and enjoyable time.
Under the guidance of the Deputy headmaster, Dr Muhammad Kamran, the brilliant
team of boys; Rayaan Mirza, Khudadad Usman, Arhum Nadeem and Chaudhry Faizan
have taken up this challenge of putting together 11 categories for the second hybrid
event by the ACSS. The idea behind the event is inspired by the New York Academy
of Sciences, which also uses online events to increase awareness in high school
students regarding the field of STEM.
| sincerely hope that the platform created by the team can reach schools that
otherwise would have found it difficult to participate. | hope your school participates
in and learns through these exciting categories.
