SPECTRUM NEWS
A Bird, came down the Walk -
He did not know I saw -
He bit an Angle Worm in halves
And ate the fellow, raw,
And then, he drank a Dew
From a convenient Grass -
And then hopped sidewise to the Wall
To let a Beetle pass -
He glanced with rapid eyes,
That hurried all abroad -
They looked like frightened Beads, I thought,
He stirred his Velvet Head. -
Like one in danger, Cautious,
I offered him a Crumb,
And he unrolled his feathers,
And rowed him softer Home -
Than Oars divide the Ocean,
Too silver for a seam,
Or Butterflies, off Banks of Noon,
Leap, plashless as they swim.
A Bird, came down the Walk

The most awaited sports event at Aitchison, the Walter Robinson Cross Country

Enthusiastic participants gathered anxiously in their kits and were set to navigate
through various Aitchison landmarks spread across campus.

Inter-House Football - Juniors
The inter-house junior football tournament took place from the 12th to the 30th of
October, showcasing Aitchison's sporting prowess and providing an outlet for
Aitchisonians who enjoy playing football. Eleven representatives from each C1 and
C2 were selected to represent individual houses and competed against each other in
thrilling matches. In this year's inter-house football league, all houses performed
exceptionally well; their dedication was evident in their on-field performance. After
tough rounds of qualifiers, semis, and quarter-finals, the two houses that made it to
the finals were Kelly House and Jubilee House.
During the finals, Jubilee scored the first goal. However, Kelly did not lose faith and
played fiercely until the very last second, scoring two goals in rapid succession. Kelly
took home the well-deserved win. Jubilee House came in second, but they played
well.
The tournament not only showcased the talent and dedication of Aitchison's young
football enthusiasts but also fostered a sense of healthy competition and camaraderie
among the houses.
