Online testing is compulsory and absences must be notified beforehand as with any examination. Boys who are absent without warning are likely to be asked to reapply for readmission the following year. Missing such crucial obligations is unacceptable without reasonable excuse. I also make a plea to parents to appreciate that while school is in an 'online mode', we can only do so much as far as attendance is concerned. It is simply a fact of life that parents are also obligated to ensure their boys attend classes and complete assignments and tests. Teachers need support in these tasks. This applies most obviously to junior boys who require a helping hand in most things. Senior boys will now have clarity on the future following the latest senior uploads. This applies to all year levels C1 to H2. Our recommendations are strong. This means they should be followed. I can see boys progressing well under this program, but a good deal of maturity in organisation and focus is needed. Queries should be directed to the Senior School office.
