MAKING A GIFT
The Old Building Fund
Our donation drive has raised 68.4 million rupees andwethank 5
all those who have given back to their school. Donations are still
welcome and needed. We require a further 11.6 million to
complete the project, and maintain a small working fund for any
future maintenance needs. The anticipated total cost of the
project is now estimated to be 80 million rupees. This ambitious
and time-consuming project to return the Old Building to its
former glory is, therefore, nearing completion. The end result
will ensure that it stands strong and tall for another century.
Designs for classrooms and other educational facilities are
almost complete. All of H2 will enjoy completing their school life
inthis iconic place.
The reopening of the Old Building is planned for March
Founders’ Day. This will be one of the most significant event in
our history and will coincide with an evening of ACOBA festivity.
Confirmation of the reopening ceremony date will be
announced soon. Donors who have given 5 lac and more will
have their names inscribed on a new copper plaque at the
entrance to the Hall.
