LEADERSHIP CAMP
FOR STUDENTS LEADERS
The Annual Leadership Camp commenced on 21st August, 2019. It was conducted in
Barry Block, where newly appointed prefects, sports captains and academic council
members gathered for the three day camp. The aim of this program was to guide
students on how best to perform in their respective roles and to give them an
opportunity to learn as part a team. The camp featured interactive sessions with
distinguished old Aitchisonians including: Dr. Ali Ansan Chaudhri, Mr. Azam Jamil, Mr.
Omer Saeed, Mr. Wasim Ahmed, AbeerMustafa (Head Boy 2010-11) and Mr. Asim
Khawaja.
The boys were assigned topics ranging from community engagement to respect and
resilience, and prepared presentations for the final day. Group discussions with the
Headmistress, Ms. Amina Kamran and the Deputy Headmaster, Dr. Muhammad
Kamran, helped the prefect body identify a plan of action for the year to come.
Afterwards, the boys enjoyed time on the football field, playing out a night-time futsal
tournament and a swimming session that offered relief from the unrelenting heat. A
concluding visit to the Archive Centre brought a rich history to this learning
