Omar Saeed studied at Aitchison College
from 1974 to 1987, where he was
captain of the College Tennis team and a
member of the College Squash team
during the Centenary games in 1986. He
graduated from Brown University in the
top 10 percent of his class and completed
his MBA from Harvard Business School
in 1998. During this time, he ran the
Boston and New York Marathons. Omar
has been the CEO of the Service Group
since 2011. He has established multiple
companies, including Ovex Technologies,
Premier BPO and Servaid Pharmacies. In
his free time, Omar enjoys playing and
watching all kinds of sports. During the
Leadership Camp, Omar focused on the
different strategies of leading a group
and the characteristics of a good leader,
such as compassion and empathy. The
discussions ended with a question and
answer session and team tasks that gave
the students a memorable practical
experience.
Dr. Ahsan Ali Chaudhri
Dr. Ahsan Ali Chaudhri is an Academic
Director of Alpha Education Institute in
New Zealand. He completed his BBIT
degree from Curtin University, Australia
followed by MBA, Master of Business
and Masters in Educational leadership
from Auckland University of Technology
in New Zealand. Dr Ahsan also holds a
‘Doctor of Business Administration’ from
Southern Cross University, Australia. On
the second day of the Leadership Camp,
Dr. Ahsan held a powerful discussion on
motivation, trust, relationships and how
to spend time productively. He
emphasized setting goals and proving
one's ability by working to one's
strengths. He culminated his discourse
with a take home message: “Come into a
relationship by covering each other's
weaknesses and working on strengths to
evolve trust among two groups.”
Abeer Mustafa

Mr. Abeer Mustafa graduated in 2011
and is a former Head Boy and President
ACMUN. He is double blazer holder and
Rivaz Gold Medalist, who nowis a lawyer
and mental health advocate. He held an
interactive session on ‘Conflict
Resolution’ drawing upon personal
experiences from his days at the College,
and inviting the participants to do the
same. The session focused on engaging
with concepts such as assertiveness,
agreeableness, empathy, efficacious
goal-setting and effective
communication. Abeer's goal for the
session was to provide students with a
framework they could not only make use
of but could contextualize.
Azam Jamil
On 23rd August 2019, we were joined by
Mr. Azam Jamil, the Dean of the Hashoo
School of Hospitality Management.
During his career Mr. Azam has
formulated and driven large teams. This
unique skill of multi-disciplinary team
management, has transformed him into
one of the leading speakers on
Leadership, Teamwork and Motivation
for over two and a half decades at
international and national forums. Some
of the institutions Mr. Azam has taught
and trained at include Nestle, HBL,
AKUH, Pakistan Cables, Mobil, Aga Khan
National Council, Pakistan Air Force,
Greenwich University, Colorado
Mountain College, Denver University
and British American Tobacco. At
Aitchison's Leadership Camp 2019 he
enlightened the students with an insight
on partnerships, willingness to learn,
personality, communication and
negotiation to lead a successful life. His
more than 43 years of experience in
various skills reflected in his inspiring
lecture.
Asim ljaz Khawaja
Mr. Asim emphasized developing
organizational structures within teams,
incorporating ideas from every team
member, developing a comfortable
interactive environment and the
importance of disagreement in
leadership roles. He ended the
discussion with a question and answer
session, leaving the students with a
better understanding of the concept of
synergism.
