ACOBA UPDATES
AITCHISON COLLEGE VS. ACOBA : ANNUAL SPORTS FIXTURES – 2022
The Annual Aitchison College vs ACOBA Sports Fixtures is always a highly anticipated event for the school and its alumni. Some
highly competitive and energetic matches were witnessed. ACOBA remains indebted to the continuous wonderful support of Mr.
Michael Thomson (Principal), Mr. Khalid Noon (Bursar), Mrs. Amina Kamran (HMSS) and Aitchison's Sports Department to old boys'
events. This year's fixtures included Basketball, Football, Squash, Tennis, Hockey, Cricket and Tent-Pegging with Rifle Shooting &
Arena Polo as friendly contests.
Hockey has become an exciting part of the Annual Fixtures thanks to the Jaffar Memorial Artificial Turf as the venue since past few
years. Aitchison team continued its hold on Hockey winning 2 – 1 in what turned out to be the closest contest in recent memory. Niaz
Ahmed and Muhammad Majid (Aitchison) and Hashir Hesham Khan(ACOBA) netted one goal each with Aitchison holding on for the
win.
