Subject: Important information regarding reporting of grades to universities in UK
Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the reporting of AS grades to universities while applying through UCAS.
Please note that if your son chooses to retake all of his A-Level exams as a composite set, he will not be required to report his previous AS-level grades. This means that students opting for this path will only present their final A-Level grades without any consideration of their AS-level results.
However, should your son decide to carry forward his AS-level grades, they must carry all the grades forward without exception. This policy ensures that students cannot mix and match between retaking some subjects at the A-Level and carrying forward AS-level grades for others.
We encourage you to discuss this policy with your son and make an informed decision based on his academic performance and future aspirations. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out to our UK Counsellor.
Best Regards,
Amina Kamran
