Dated: January 28, 2024 AITCHISON TO WELCOME NEW RIDING PAVILION AND CONSIDER NEW PROJECTS I was delighted to see our many talented riders perform so well at the Rasulpur & Col. Aslam Niazi Challenge Cup, Individual & Section Tent Pegging on January 27th. Preceding this, I announced the building of a new Riding Pavilion, and thanked our donor Mr. Omar Sheikh for funding this much needed project. At last, our most historic sport will enjoy a purpose built pavilion with public views over tent pegging, jumps, dressage, and arena polo. The new structure, now under way, will boast change room facilities and a riders' lounge with archives. Completion is anticipated by June 2024. Planning for a College gymnasium at the main swimming pools and a new Dining and Food Outlet Area for senior boys will be presented to the Board Management Committee this term. In addition, covered eating spaces for Junior and Prep boys will provided soon. In all cases, we thank donors for providing or pledging all funds. Michael Thomson M.A., Dip. Ed., M.A.C.E Principal
