JS Helping Hands Community (Boy Scouts) Hosts Historic Oath-Taking Ceremony
Aitchison College Junior School marked a proud milestone as its JS Helping Hands Community (Boy Scouts) held a historic oath-taking ceremony. Launched in 2024 with K6, the scouting programme has steadily expanded down to K3, welcoming our younger learners into the scouting brotherhood for the first time. Escorted by K6 scouts and Junior School leadership, the Principal, S. M. Turab Hussain, Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy were warmly received at the Gore Block Hall. Addressing the assembly, the Principal recalled his own scouting days at Aitchison, emphasising the programme’s enduring power to build character, citizenship and leadership. Following the address, K3 and K4 scouts solemnly took their oaths before being invested with their official neckerchiefs alongside K5 learners.
