They continue to inspire the next generation of students through their achievements. Umer Siddiq (Class of 2013) Umer Siddiq has made a significant mark in the climate-tech landscape by inventing Pakistan's first patent-filed Biological Air Purification System. Umer attended Aitchison College from 2001 to 2013 before completing his Bachelor of Architecture at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in 2018. Before shifting his focus toward environmental engineering, he gained diverse professional experience across multiple sectors. His early career included managing operations in logistics and manufacturing, as well as serving as the Principal Architect at Vizyon Interiors. He also founded w3 Merch in March 2024. In July 2025, Umer launched Algoss, a climate-tech initiative dedicated to reducing dense urban air pollution through integrated, science-qualified systems. His work combines environmental engineering and biological systems to deliver applied urban solutions. Under his leadership, the venture has developed biofiltration setups and remediation systems specifically engineered to operate in toxic, dry, and arid environments. The College is beaming with pride to see our Old Boys’ efforts towards a sustainable and ecologically sound future.
