Stars and Daggers
Aitchison College’s Flagship Souvenir Shop
EST 2025
Stars and Daggers, the name of the souvenir shop, is a reference to the now discontinued behavioural assessment of Old Boys on report cards back in their school days. Stars were given out to students on their reports for good behaviour and conduct, while daggers reflected a disciplinary infraction. If the student was the recipient of more than 3 daggers, this meant he was going to be reprimanded far more seriously. The name is a light-hearted nod to the history of the College as we ring in its 140th year and was inspired by the ideas of our current students. We would like to add a special note of gratitude for them:
Ayan Ifzal – H2-B
Syed Talal Ahmad Shah – H1-A
Syed Raza Ahmad Shah – H1-A
The memorabilia shop, the first of its kind in an academic institution in Pakistan, has been created for the dual purpose of reconnecting Old Boys with Aitchison College and offering them the opportunity to give back to their alma mater. At the 140 years anniversary of Aitchison, the shop will bring you exclusive memorabilia, created with the ethos of reunion - to reconnect Old Boys, families of Old Boys, current Aitchisonians, and the College. All proceeds will be directed to fundraising for the College’s initiatives, ensuring that each article you own shall carry not just pride of ownership, identity and legacy but a contribution to the future of Aitchison College.
