Originally established as “the Punjab Chief’s College”, the institution was renamed during its foundation laying ceremony on 3rd November, 1886.
To commemorate the 140 years of the College’s inception, Dr S M Turab Hussain paid his respects to Sir Charles Umpherston Aitchison at his final resting site in Wolvercote Cemetery, Oxfordshire, England.
