On 11 August 2026 at 6:08 PM, the Aitchison College Science Society (ACSS), under the guidance of Dr. Muhammad Kamran, successfully launched its student-developed rocket: BARQ.
BARQ reached an apogee of 3,740 metres and a peak velocity of Mach 0.86, marking the highest and fastest flight in the team’s history, as recorded by the sensors on its onboard flight computer.
At the heart of the flight was Silver Phantom, the science society's fully student-developed solid rocket motor.
