REPORT ON THE OLD BUILDING
Principal, Michael Thomson, receives the first thorough report on the Old Building from old boy architect Mr. Faheem. Donors will be able to read the main findings that will also allow us to plan the iconic building's resurrection and future. Mr. Thomson has plans to make the Old Building a working part Aitchison; one of the key recommendations of Mr. Faheem. Part of the main 'fix' is ridding termites, replacing eroded batons, replacing lost decorative features, replacing floors (not in the Main Hall, which is fine) in the rear and upper sections, cleaning the cupola/dome returning it to its original pink and shining the red marble columns to mention a few things.
Donors will soon have a scheduled plan of doing things and a summary of costs very soon.
