Today, we have made the decision to cancel orientation days for Junior and Prep boys that were originally scheduled for August 21. New boys entering these schools will be orientated at school. Senior orientation will go ahead as planned on August 21st (owing to the very small numbers), while all boarders, in all schools, are to arrive on August 21. This schedule will be maintained throughout Term 1 subject to government order. Strict protocols will be in place, but it would be helpful if parents reinforce the importance of wearing masks properly and observing social distancing rules. Most sports can be enjoyed and boys will be advised accordingly. We are exceedingly fortunate that Aitchison enjoys a very large campus. This has enabled us to hold school without serious health issues in both day and boarding areas. We look forward to welcoming all boys back to school. Teachers are refreshed and well-prepared for the new academic year.
