Collaborate for Clean Air: Introducing Our New Car-Pooling System
Dear Parents,
We are currently experiencing a heavy smog season. According to many scientific studies, one of the major contributors to smog is automobile emissions. Through car-pooling, we can significantly reduce the number of cars on the road and ease congestion, thereby mitigating this environmental and health hazard. Car-pooling will also help save on high fuel costs.
To facilitate this, we are pleased to introduce a new, user-friendly system that allows parents to connect with other parents in their neighborhood who are interested in car-pooling. This system respects your privacy, ensuring that only those who have given their consent will be visible. You can easily search for neighboring parents through a convenient search tool available on the Parents Portal under the "Car Pool" tab. We believe this feature will make it easier for you to find and coordinate with others, promoting a sense of community while contributing to a cleaner environment.
Please review the accuracy of the data shown in the Student Profile, including phone numbers and addresses. If your address or phone number has changed, kindly send an email to helpdesk@aitchison.edu.pk. Our IT Team will assist you in updating the records. For security reasons, please ensure that emails are sent only from the email address registered with the college to confirm that the data change request is genuinely from you.
The following details should be shared with the Security department for issuing necessary car stickers and recommending your entry gate for smooth access to the college:
- School number of students
- Name of student
- Vehicle registration number
- Complete address
- Contact number
- Email address
I urge all of you to seriously consider the option of car-pooling and make use of this new system to help build connections within our community and make your contribution to improving the environment. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.
