Subject: Invitation for Parent & Staff Volunteers – Boarding Volunteering Programme
Dear Parents and Members of Staff,
As part of our ongoing efforts to further enrich the boarding experience at Aitchison College, the Residential Life Committee (RLC) is pleased to introduce a Boarding Volunteering Programme which will commence in Academic Year 2026-27.
This initiative seeks to build upon the existing boarding experience by providing additional opportunities for meaningful engagement beyond the classroom. It aims to foster curiosity, creativity, and a strong sense of community within our boarding houses.
The programme will invite parents and staff to contribute their time and expertise through a range of supervised enrichment activities, which may include:
- Reading and storytelling sessions
- Literature and poetry discussions
- Academic support and guided reading
- Creative and reflective activities
- Other age-appropriate enrichment engagements aligned with boarding life
We invite expressions of interest from parents and guardians of students across Junior, Prep, and Senior Schools as well as Members of staff interested in contributing to boarding life.
All sessions will be conducted within the structure and routines of the boarding houses, under the supervision of boarding staff, and will typically last between 45 minutes to one hour.
If you are interested in contributing to this initiative, please submit your expression of interest to the Residential Life Committee by scanning the QR Code. Deadline for applications: 30th April 2026.
We look forward to your support in strengthening the residential life at Aitchison College!
Yours sincerely,
Application Form
