January 27, 2023 Principal's Letter January 27 Dear Junior and Prep Parents, Young boys need to spend time reading good books and materials, if they are to advance well at school and acquire strong vocabulary. Time wasted on computers/video games from a young age may occupy boys but some of the language and ideas resulting from these 'gadgets' are anti-social and frankly reprehensible. We must feed our children with wholesome ideas and encourage them to read for enjoyment as a life skill. Parents need to be very selective in what young boys are exposed to. Computers are great and we encourage this technology at school. However, young minds do not discern as well as might think and these are crucial years in the formation of character and behaviour.
