Guest Speaker Session - Mr. Ghalib Salam: From Ironman to Swissman
A guest speaker session, "From Ironman to Swissman - A Journey of Endurance and Resilience," was held on Saturday, 5th September 2026, in the SBA Library's Media Room, in collaboration with the Syed Babar Ali Library and the Sports Department.
Mr. Ghalib Salam, Pakistan's first Ironman finisher and triathlon champion, shared his experiences in endurance sports and discussed the importance of discipline, resilience, mental strength, and preparation with the college's sports coaches.
A lively question-and-answer session followed, with the College's Games Master, Mr. Umer Zaman, the Games Ambassador, Mr. Shahid Mehmood Aslam actively participating by raising thoughtful and relevant questions. The discussion explored how students could be identified and selected for challenging trekking and endurance activities, as well as the motivation and preparation required for such pursuits.
