ACOBA UPDATE
ACOBA Winterfest 2017
ACOBA Winterfest was held on Saturday, 18-November, 2017 in a majestic setting at the footsteps of
Gore Block, Junior School. The atmosphere was energetic and exciting with over 450 Aitchisonians and
their families attending the festivities. The ambiance was a sight to behold as Gore Block lit up the beauti-
ful November evening. Mr. Michael Thomson (Principal) graced the occasion. Mr. Khalid Noon (Bursar),
Mrs. Amina Kamran (Headmistress Senior School), Mrs. Fatima Mobeen (Headmistress Junior School),
Mr. Shahid Mahmood (Director Sports), Syed Shaukat Hussain & Mr. Arif Saeed (Members BOG) and
prominent old boys graced the occasion. Former senior teacher Mr. Mohammad Ismail and former Head-
master Prep School Mr. Amir Hussain were also part of the auspicious gathering.
The dinner was a most sumptuous affair and was enjoyed by all. It was followed up by a musical extrava-
ganza with a scintillating performance by Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan. Old boys of all age groups and their
families hailed the exposition as one of the best they have ever seen. Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan involved a
couple of old boys in duets and finished up his brilliant performance by calling Mr. Shahjehan Ayub (Presi-
dent ACOBA) and other Executive Committee Members on stage to bring the house down. ACOBA
thanks our dear Bhatti Sahab for his excellent event photography.
