Summer at Syed Babar Ali Library
Syed Babar Ali library organized summer activities for the nourishment of young and adult minds. These included a motivational
seminar conducted by Ms. Tosheeba Sarwar, a story-telling session by Ms. Rubab Baqir and arts and crafts workshops led by
Ms. Lalarukh Agha and Ms. Alia Naqvi.The Library also hosted Movie Days in which book adaptations were shown in order to
develop more love for books and incentive to read them. English Language workshops were also held for Campus Boys and
Girls which were aimed to improve their listening, speaking, writing and reading skills.The activities were held to create a
community of book enthusiasts and to bring all creative minds together under one roof.
Mr. Ali Chughtai GSC Law (Guest Speaker) with H1 and H2 Students
Syed Babar Ali Library & the Senior School Law Society held an interactive session with Old Boy Mr. Ali Chughtai on the
intricacies in the field of litigation and policy making. Students were informed about opportunities the field of legal practice has
to offer and its endless potential to bring about significant changes in the society and work for its upliftment. The students were
also educated regarding pursuing legal education around the globe and the JD degree, along with pursuing job opportunities in
legal firms. This session also shed light on the advantages of practicing law in Pakistan and the room for meaningful impact in the
diaspora.
EO TEDx Talk Session
The Entrepreneurs Organization’s Lahore Chapter (EO Lahore) hosted EO Talks at the College on Saturday the 28th of October
2023. The speakers included Kamil Shahid, Yasir Bucha , Nashara Balagamwala, Ahmed Uzair, Mahnum Humayun and Khurram
Saleem shared fresh entrepreneurial perspectives, and network with the group present.
