The Official Opening of the 5th Boarding House was held on Saturday 23rd September, 2023. Mr. Iftikhar H. Shirazi (Old boy, AC
'79, CEO Atlas Group) opened the Shirazi Boarding House, joined by the Shirazi family, many old boys, present boys and
dignitaries. The Head Boy Nausherwan Pattel welcomed guests. Senior Shirazi Prefects (Muhammad Reyan & Ahmed Bin
Hussain) gave thanks on behalf of the house, followed by each boarder announcing his home origin. Syed Babar Ali, Mr. Iftikhar
H. Shirazi and Principal Mr. Thomson then addressed the gathering.The Principal thanked the Shirazi family for their generous
support in building the 5th Seniors Boarding House, outlining the importance of Boarding at Aitchison for C1 and C2's as
individuals. The ribbon cutting and unveiling of the plaque was done by the donor Mr. Iftikhar H. Shirazi followed by the tour to
Shirazi House and Tea. Sir Haider Hassan has been appointed as the first house master of this prestigious house.
