From August 9th to 11th, Aitchison College hosted the Inter-Club Squash Fundraiser Championship at the Monnoo Squash
Complex. The event brought together eight squash clubs from Lahore, aiming to raise funds for underprivileged players and
support their development in the sport. Desom Services Club claimed the championship title with a 3-1 win against the host
team, Aitchison College, in the final match. Lahore Gymkhana secured third place with a consistent performance throughout the
tournament. This initiative, organized by Aitchison College and led by student Sheheryar Akram, showcased the importance of
supporting young talent and promoting inclusivity in squash.

Congratulations to Ms. SaraAhmer, Head of Art at Senior
School, on being selected for the prestigious British Council
Action Research Grants Programme. Her research on
integrating Generative AI into adaptive lesson plans for VARK
learners has the potential to transform education.During this
collaboration, British Council representatives Ms. Amanda
Ingram and Ms. Kanwal Shah visited Aitchison College. A
contract was signed with the Principal, strengthening the
partnership and promoting educational innovation.

The 7th Aitchison College National Junior Tennis Championship 2024 was inaugurated on October 15th, bringing together
talented young players from across the country. The event was graced by prominent guests, including Dr. S. M. Turab Hussain,
Principal of Aitchison College; Mr. Umer Zaman Khan, Games Master and Head of Sports; and Mr. Rashid Malik, Senior
Executive Vice President of the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA), among other dignitaries. The Principal highlighted the
significance of such grassroots events in nurturing young athletic talent. Mr. Sajjad Rasool officiated as the referee, while Mr.
Faheem Siddiqui coordinated the event, ensuring its smooth execution and success.
