A group of eighteen students and two
staff members embarked on an
unforgettable journey to the Northern
Areas of Pakistan. The adventure
began on June 19, 2024, from Naran,
crossing Babusar Pass (13,489 ft) to
Gorikot (9,200 ft). The group trekked to
Herrligkoffer Base Camp (10,500 ft),
Latobo Base Camp (11,300 ft), and
Latobo Lake (12,000 ft), taking in the
breathtaking views of Nanga Parbat
(26,657 ft). They crossed Burzil Pass
(13,808 ft) to Minimarg and Domail
(Rainbow Lake), enjoying snow and
scenic surroundings. The party
traveled to Skardu (7,500 ft) over
Deosai Plains (13,500 ft), stopping at
Sheosar Lake (13,600 ft) and Satpara
Village. The trip concluded with
shopping and birthday celebrations in
Skardu.
