Asquad of 15 players of Aitchison College won 5 out of 6 matches against 5 top English schools and a South African cricket academy on their cricket tour of England from 19th - 30th June, 2018.
All the hard work put in by the squad of 15 players, Director of Cricket Jon Wright and Ist XI coach Mohammed Riaz bore fruit through six well contested matches against 5 top English schools and a South African cricket academy over ten days.
Our 1st XI cricket team travelled to England and has returned triumphant. A separate report covers the tour.
Aitchison College opened its tour of England against St Edwards College, Oxford regarded as possibly the best cricket school in southern England.

There is no doubt that Aitchison cricket has climbed the mountain and planted its flag firmly. I doubt if such a result has ever been matched in the history of Aitchison College.

This is just the sort of mature preparation the squad needs as it prepares for the UK Tour in June.
Importantly, our young cricketers will have learned much and out of a squad of fifteen, thirteen will be returning next year. All boys will have memories to last a lifetime. May this be the first of many more tours to come and with the prospect of visiting teams enjoying Lahore.
