Introduction
The Aitchison College Science Society (ACSS) in collaboration with the key
societies of Aitchison College bring you the Aitchison College Science and
Engineering Concept 2018.
Following the first two editions of its flagship event, the ACSS aims to organize and
firmly establish one of the most productive, prestigious, and competitive Olympiads
of its kind. The competition aims to provide school and college level students with
the opportunity to compete on a national platform, present ideas, research, and
above all else actually think and try to do something about the problems we face in
our daily lives. The main ideology behind this is to ensure that all inter-college
barriers may be shattered.
The competition aims to provide high school level students with the opportunity to
present ideas to impact the world and interact with other likeminded students. All in
all, this will be an event that fuses science, research, thinking skills. One that
switches our ubiquitous mind-set with regards to science from memorizing textbooks,
and getting grades to what actually happens in the real scientific world.
