This year, the Founders' Day events were held from 8th - 10th March, 2018. Students, parents and a
large number of alumni joined in the celebrations. The Academic Founders’ Day was held on 8th March,
2018 at the Amphitheatre. The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was the Chief Guest
on the occasion.The four sporting events were held over a period of two days on 9th and 10th March at
the Main Cricket Ground. Mr. Fahd Husain, Mr. Mustafa Ramday and Major General Muhammad Aamer
were Chief Guests at the Junior, Prep and Senior School sports days.
The Main Sports Day was held on 10th March where Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwa-
na graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The Old Boys actively participated in the 4x100 m relay race and
later in the traditional Old Boys’ March Past. The team of Sharjeel Khan Niazi, Waleed Hanif Khan,
Ammar Nauman and Usama Bashir won the 4x100 m Old Boys’ relay in 48.28 seconds.

OLD BOYS’ ART EXHIBITION
Aitchison College takes immense pride in the accomplishments of its alumni and the great names it has
produced in the field of art. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Aitchison College Ranbir
Shumsher Jung Art Department, a three-day Old Boys’ art exhibition was organized from 8th – 10th
March, 2018. The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar inaugurated the exhibition. The
exhibition proved to be a huge success with the display of art work submitted by sixty Old Aitchisonians.
The art works portrayed diverse themes and comprised of paintings, drawings, sketches, photographs,
digital art, architectural layouts, sculptures, jewellery and furniture.
The large scale painting sent by the prominent artist and winner of the Pride of Performance award
Mian Ijaz ul Hassan was the centre of attraction for many visitors. The vibrantly painted foliage by Mr.
Badar Moinuddin, the pen sketches of Mr. Ghazi Sikander and the beautiful paintings of artists including
Asad Abbas, Munawar Noon, Amjad Noon, Muhammad Ali Chaudhry and Ali Sarmad were greatly
appreciated by the visitors.
