ADJUNCT FACULTY ENRICHES EDUCATIONAL
EXPERIENCE AT AITCHISON COLLEGE
Our Adjunct Faculty comprising Old Aitchisonians from esteemed universities
continues to regularly deliver metacognition lectures for A1 and A2 boys.
The metacognition programme contributes to our ideal of an education versed in the
liberal arts, the natural sciences, social sciences, and an appreciation of the breadth and
interconnectedness of knowledge. It provides students with a much broader exposure
to knowledge that may not be in their specific curricula.
GUEST SPEAKER
SESSION WITH
DR. KAMRAN MIRZA
Former Head Boy and Rivaz Medalist, Dr.
Kamran Mirza visited the College on 7th
November, 2018 for a guest speaker
session with H1 boys. Kamran is working
as Assistant Professor, Pathology and
Laboratory Medicine & Medical
Education, among other roles, at Loyola
University's School of Medicine.
Dr. Mirza recalled his school days with
great affection and shared with the boys
his academic and professional journey
beyond Aitchison. He motivated the boys
to find their passion and to remain
resilient in the face of setbacks.
