Aitchison College vs Old Boys (Tent Pegging) - 2025
In true Aitchison tradition, the Malik Atta Muhammad Memorial Tent Pegging Competition between Aitchison College and Old
Boys took place on January 25, 2025, with great energy and excitement. A total of 28 Aitchison College boys and 24 Old Boys
competed fiercely across the Individual, Pair, and Section Tent Pegging events.In the Individual category, Old Boy Khaqan Ali
Kohawar dominated by securing the first position, while Hamza Tariq Saadat claimed second and Faateh Babar Alpa earned
third. In the Pair category, Aamir Munawar and Hamza Tariq Saadat clinched first, followed by Kasim Ahmed Khan and Suleman
Babar Aziz in second, and M Ishaq Khan and Mian Shahdin Tariq from Aitchison College securing third. The College boys made
a strong comeback in the Section event, with M Ishaq Khan, Mian Shahdin Tariq, M Azhar Khan, and M Husnain Khan taking first
place, while Ismail Saeed, Syed M Ismail Shah, M Shafi Javed, and SaarimFarhanZaidi secured third. The spirited crowd of
alumni and parents cheered enthusiastically, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. Mr. Asim Ali Shah, an Old Boy, graced the
occasion as Chief Guest, presenting medals, trophies, and prizes to the outstanding performers.
Aitchison Pre-1970 Leavers Lunch a Heartwarming Reunion!
Aitchison College proudly hosted the Pre-1970 Leavers Lunch on Saturday, February 8, 2025, bringing together a distinguished
group of alumni, their wives, and the respected spouses of late Aitchisonians. The event was a heartfelt reunion, brimming with
nostalgia as old friends reconnected and shared treasured memories from their time at the College.
Notable guests, including Lt. Gen. (R) Ali Kuli Khan Khattak (retired Pakistani three-star general and former commander of X
Corps), Syed Fakhar Imam (former Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan), and the Principal, Dr. S.M. Turab Hussain,
addressed the attendees. Their speeches reflected on fond recollections, highlighted exciting upcoming projects, and
underscored the crucial role of the Endowment Fund in supporting deserving students. The gathering celebrated lifelong
friendships, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to giving back to the College.
