Fawad Ahmed Mukhtar
ALUMNUS IN FOCUS
Mr. Fawad Ahmed Mukhtar, CEO of Fatima
Group, is a distinguished leader in Pakistan's
industrial sector. After graduating from
Aitchison College in 1982, he pursued a
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
from the University of Pennsylvania and later
completed an MBA from the Wharton School of
Business. Over the past three decades, Mr.
Mukhtar has successfully expanded his family
business into one of the country's prominent
conglomerates.
He holds leadership positions across several
key companies, including Pakarab Fertilizers,
Fatimafert Limited, Fatima Cement Limited, and
serves as Chairman of multiple group ventures.
Deeply committed to philanthropy, he actively
leads initiatives such as the Fatima Fertilizer
Trust, Fatima Fertilizer Education Society, and
the Mukhtar A. Sheikh Welfare Trust. He also
s e r ve s o n t h e B o a rd of t h e N at i o n a l
Management Foundation, the sponsoring body
of LUMS.
