Aitchison narrowly won Basketball 48 – 45 under the lights at the Dawood Basketball Center. The students and spectators
enjoyed the close encounter including Principal Aitchison College, President ACOBA, Headmistress Senior School, Bursar,
Director Sports, General Secretary ACOBA and esteemed old boys. Special appreciation must be govern to the boys and the
coaching staff for the gutsy performance.
Cricket at the MCG in front of the historic Rab Pavilion was a treat with the campus in picturesque condition. In one of the closely
fought matches in recent history, ACOBA edged out the Aitchison team by 2 wickets in a thrilling contest that went down to the
last over.
ACOBA won the toss and put Aitchison to bat first who scored 232 for 3 wickets in their stipulated 35 overs. Usman Khan scored
a brilliant century and Daud Tauqir Rana remained unbeaten on 88 runs. ACOBA crossed the target for the loss of 8 wickets in
the very last over. Omer Taj (33), Quaid Khan (24) and Muneeb Wasif (37) all chipped in with the whole tram to snatch the win. The
spectators including the worthy Principal were at their edge of their seats as they witnessed the encounter with adrenaline
rushing up and down till the very end.
Up next was Hockey, which has become an exciting part of the Annual Fixtures thanks to the Jaffar Memorial Artificial Turf. In an
exciting fast-paced match, Aitchison team eventually dominated the old boys coming out winners 5 – 1. Muhammad Faisal

enjoyed the festive event.
