16. Silent Storm
Abdur Rehman Azim Khan, M2A1
In the dead of night a light flashes,
As in the angry clouds electricity clashes.
Lightning flashing,
But no thunder crashing.
The clouds flicker with a luminescence,
As the sound of thunder is an unknown essence.
Rains overflow the mighty mud,
And in the streets approaches a rapid flood.
All this is part of a silent storm,
Where nothing is spared or let to be born.
Soon little earthworms emerge from the moist soil,
As lightning clashes with every tin and foil.
