13. Untouchables
Rana Mohammad Arshman, M2F4
No matter how hard I try,
My hope fades and dies,
My efforts go to waste,
My mouth develops a bitter taste.
I aim for the sky, yet plummet to the ground,
To failure I am bound,
My work and dedication,
Leads to disaster and devastation.
My mind is just torn in two,
Why am I destined to always lose?
Why can I not succeed?
When that is my only need.
I try and try, again and again,
Only to think about it in vain,
That when will I finally be free,
Of this endless circle of destiny.
