The 9th Walter A. Robinson Challenge Cup for the 2024–25 Cross Country Race, held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, was a thrilling event showcasing exceptional enthusiasm and endurance from both current students and Old Boys.

Distance: | 9.6 km (two laps) for Groups 1, 2, 3 & 5 and 1 lap (half distance) for Group 4.
Old Boys Under-35 Age Group. - Old Boys 35-45 Age Group. - Old Boys 46-55 Age Group. - Old Boys Over-55 Age Group. - Present Schoolboys (Minimum 10 from each House).
Around one hundred-and-seventy present Aitchison College boys took part in the race.
The Under-35 Category was represented by seven participants, eleven old Aitchisonians turned out to be in the 35-45 Age Category, ten were in the 46-55 Age Category and seven filled in the Over-55 Category.
A total of 170 Aitchisonians participated across multiple age categories

Sadly, this year no spectators will be allowed and boys will not assemble along the course.
Medals will be awarded for the first 3 Positions of each category.
The Walter A. Robinson Challenge Cup is awarded to the Present Schoolboy securing the first position.
Schoolboys securing the first 6 positions will be awarded certificates.
