4.4 What to Include in the Written Report (Email, Diary)?
In order to make the reporting process efficient, we encourage as much detail to be provided in the written
report as is known to the reporting individual. In particular, we request the following information to be
included:
1. Date of the incident.
2. Exact or approximate time of the incident.
3. Location of the incident. Be as specific as you can.
4. Details of the behaviour observed/ experienced. Give as much detail as you can.
5. Names of all the individuals involved.
6. Any supporting evidence you may have. This could include statements, pictures, videos, screenshots, or
even names of witnesses.
7. Any other information you want to share.
4.5 Reporting to Parents
In case of a physical injury within school premises, the college doctor will write an email to the principal and cc
the relevant HM and housemaster/mistress. Thereafter, the school will inform the parents about it. For serious
physical injuries, the college doctor may contact the parents directly in order to address their concerns
satisfactorily.
4.6 False Reporting
False reporting means filing a complaint against another student or group of students with no premise other than
malicious intent, as a joke, or a misunderstanding. While we encourage students to come forward and report
incidents of disruptive social behaviour, we expect responsible and mature reporting. False reporting is taken
very seriously by the college and will likely lead to strict action against the reporting individual/ group. False
reporting may even lead to suspension of the student making the report.
