Hijacking Happiness
Ismael Ahmad Sheikh
M2G2
The man looked out of the window as the sun set overhead was leav-
ing the world in darkness once more.
“White Falcon to Brown Eagle,” said the man into his watch. “Are you in position?”
“Brown Eagle to White Falcon,” came the gruff reply. “Ready and waiting.”
“Good”, answered White Falcon,“ Wait for my signal.”
White Falcon, and Brown Eagle were of course code names, their real names were Thomas
Tolgarre, and Jordan Carter. For three years now they had been hijacking trains, and trucks,
and tonight they were going to hijack their very first plane.
The plane in question belonged to a philanthropic billionaire, Shawn Harker, who was trans-
porting $20 billion, in cash, all over the place to distribute to different people. He would be
going personally and giving anyone who he thought was deserving a large sum of money.
The plane would be making its very first stop in Sydney, where as it ‘approached the
airport’, Jordan would leap onto it from above, kill everyone inside, and make his getaway
in the plane, with the money.
Thomas meanwhile, would fool the pilot into thinking he was going towards the airport, but
in reality he would be over the Pacific Ocean.
He had already hacked the plane’s high-tech systems, so now on screen it would show them
approaching the airport, and Jordan would be waiting overhead in the helicopter.
Once they got their hands on the money, they would keep it safe in their hide-out, the same
place that Thomas was currently in.
Through his cameras, Thomas could see the plane approaching. It was time to give the
signal. He pressed a button, and at once a flare was fired, lighting up the sky, unbeknownst
to the pilot however, since the screen was still showing a projection of the airport.
Jordan grabbed his gun and leapt out of the helicopter, landing on the tail of the plane. He
walked unsteadily over to the emergency door, which Thomas opened using his computer.
He leapt into the plane, brandishing his gun and shooting everyone in sight. His silenced
gun made hardly any noise, sounding more like a cough. He ran into the bedroom first,
where he found Shawn asleep in bed, and made sure he would never wake up.
Then, he ran to the cockpit, shooting both the pilot and the copilot. He sat down at the con-
trols and changed the course of the ship slightly, steering to Desolation Island.
“Brown Eagle to White Falcon. Mission successful.”
