o No intermediary (bank) needed
o Transactions recorded transparently on public ledgers
Cybersecurity involves protecting computer systems, networks, and data from
unauthorized access, attacks, and damage.
Each block contains:
● Data: Sender, receiver, transaction details, and amount.
● Hash Value: A unique identifier generated using a cryptographic algorithm.
● Previous Hash Value: Connects each block to the one before it.
● The Genesis Block is the first block with no previous hash (0000).
A
is a distributed database spread across multiple computers
(nodes).
Each transaction is grouped into a block and linked to the previous one, forming
a chain.
Impossible to alter data without the consent of the majority of network
participants.
