Lenz's Law:
The induced current flows in such a direction that it opposes the change
producing it.
Concept of Magnetic flux and Faraday's Law of Flux:
Magnetic flux is the number of magnetic field lines passing through a point
in a closed surface. The rate of change in magnetic flux causes induced
emf.
Faraday's Law of electromagnetic induction : The rate of change in
magnetic flux is directly proportional to emf induced. The greater the
change in flux the larger the emf that is induced.
Electricity can be generated by rotating a magnetic within a coil or by
rotating a coil in a magnetic field. As they rotate, the magnetic field through
the coil changes, which induces a voltage and therefore a current in the
coil. The voltage can be increased by:
Using a wire with larger surface area and more turns
Using stronger magnet
