AC Chronicles
"Do you all want the sun to join you?" he laughed.
"Grandpa is telling us a very inspirational story about Edhi,"
responded Ali.
"Come, join us," Sara added.
"No, you guys enjoy the story. I have a meeting tomorrow."
"Okay, so where was I? Ah! Yes! So, I was saying that Edhi received
many awards for his social work. He became well-known and
recognized as a true hero due to his loyalty to his mission. He and his
wife, Bilquis Edhi, faced many hardships in their journey and
worked tirelessly to serve others.
His work and ideology remain alive to this day. Though he passed
away on July 8, 2016, his dream and the message of humanity he
spread continue to inspire many. His determination and love for
humanity were such that even on his deathbed, he requested that his
organs be donated to those in need.
This man is a legend, an idol for many in Pakistan, and a role model
for people worldwide when it comes to humanity. His legacy lives
on, as Edhi ambulances still run through the cities of Pakistan,
helping and saving lives each day."
