AC Chronicles
The Innocent Ones
Rises from the graves and haunts you,
Pierces our hearts, kills us inside.
Sounds of gunshots, bombs, and rubble
Echo in the ears of those who sit,
Sit there quietly, on the top.
"I condemn, I condemn,"
They all say,
But do they really understand
What they've done!!!
Oppressed are those kids,
Their cries in our hearts
Pierce, but then we sit,
Peacefully and relaxed.
What did they do
To deserve all this?
Who gave them the right
To kill the kids?
Held them in their hands,
Cold, dry, and dead,
Shrouded in white cloth
To shield their pain.
