Very cold, long snowy winters, and short cool summers.
Precipitation mainly as snow.
Location:
Found in the Northern high mountains — Gilgit-Baltistan, Skardu, Hunza,
upper Kaghan, Chitral, and Neelum Valley.
Found above 3,000 meters altitude.
